C.R. "BOB" BROWN, CMI, CFI Founder In 1966, Bob Brown founded Brown & Associates which grew to become the oldest, most established private investigative agency in the Orlando, Florida area. Over the years, Bob’s reputation as a professional and compassionate PI grew, winning him many accolades, honors and awards. He was listed as one of the top investigators in the nation today (P.I. Magazine), which is backed by the numerous awards and recognition he has received, including the National Association of Investigative Specialist's "Distinguished Service Award"--considered the "Emmy" of the private investigative industry. Bob also received a "Life Time Achievement Award" from the Private Investigators Association of Florida. Bob is the proud author of Investigations - "Doing It My Way", a useful book for anyone considering owning/operating a PI agency. PEDEN “PETE” DEPP Executive Director In 2007, BROWN & DEPP, LLC, was created when Pete Depp bought Bob Brown’s PI business.  Pete continues to maintain many of the established business practices for which Bob had become known.  As Executive Director, Pete conducts the daily operations of the business. Pete has extensive experience in conducting various types of investigations, including but not limited to theft, fraud, false statements, internal affairs, stalking, child abuse and smuggling. He served as a Special Agent with the U.S. Customs Service, the Federal Emergency Management Agency-Office of Inspector General, and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Prior to his federal career, Mr. Depp was a police officer in Apopka, a detective with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, and a child abuse investigator with the State of Florida. During his career Pete received many awards and accolades, such as being a two time recipient of the Outstanding Law Enforcement Officer Award presented by the U.S. Attorney in Miami, Florida. Pete has a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and a Master’s in the Foundations of Education. In addition to his investigative experience, Pete was a certified instructor at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) and was the Assistant Special Agent in Charge (ASAC) of the DHS-Inspector General’s Dallas Field Office. GLORY SHIELDS Office Manager / Data Specialist Glory has been with the firm for over ten years and is an integral part of BROWN & DEPP, LLC.  Glory ensures that each investigator is “on schedule” and that all appointments are kept. She sets up new case files and keeps them updated as the investigation progresses.  Glory also conducts all background searches and queries the various databases to which we subscribe. RICHARD “RICH” ZALDIVAR Chief Investigator Rich specializes in conducting quality surveillances, and is extremely successful in obtaining “the money shot.” Although Rich is usually busy on surveillance and with domestic investigations, he also assists in conducting the many other types of investigations we handle here at BROWN & DEPP, LLC. A life-long resident of Orlando, Rich has many “connections” in the community. As a native Spanish speaker, Rich handles all of our Spanish-speaking clientele.   PAUL F. JONES, CITRMS Identity Theft Specialist Paul is an expert in the area of Identity Theft investigations. He is a Certified Identity Theft Risk Management Specialist (CITRMS) and has worked on numerous cases for individuals and corporations concerning ID Theft.  Paul also consults with corporations regarding compliance with various Federal laws, such as, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), the Fair and Accurate Credit Transaction Act (FACTA) and the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLB).  Paul has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a Masters in Business Administration.  In addition to the above, Paul has experience in conducting surveillances, interviews, and various other investigative techniques. GREG & GRACE LEIBOLT, FCI Computer Forensics Specialists Greg and Grace have been in the information systems industry for over 22 years. They are knowledgeable in all Microsoft Windows, UNIX and Linux operating systems. They have worked for Fortune 500 corporations and have been licensed private investigators for eleven years.   STEPHEN PAOLETTI Judgment Recovery Specialist  Stephen's background includes many years as a certified law enforcement officer in Florida.  He graduated with honors with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Hilbert College (NY) and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida. He is an expert in judgment research and asset recovery and has over 11 years experience in enforcing judgments.  HAROLD H. HOUCK Financial Investigations Since 1989, Harold “Harry” Houck has provided specialized services in global financial research, corporate investigations, troubleshooting, competitor intelligence, due diligence, and fraud research.
